Welcome to Silent Donor! To send your fully anonymous donation, select your preferred payment method below and proceed to our short donation form. Simply type in Recode as the recipient organization for your donation on the form. 

Your donation will first flow to our federally registered 501(c)(3) charitable fund that we created to shield & protect our donors called the AnonDo Fund (EIN: 87-0879423). Then, the AnonDo Fund will send the donation to Recode, but it will come as a donation from our fund – and will not contain any of your information at all! You will receive your tax-deductible receipt from the AnonDo Fund.

To send a donation via check in the mail:

  • Please make the check out to: The Anondo Fund. That is our charitable fund. Our fund will send your donation to Recode anonymously. Important: Do not make the check out to Recode!!!
  • Send your check to our mailing address at: 2027 W. Division Street, Suite 118. Chicago, IL 60622.
  • In your envelope, please include a separate piece of paper that includes the following information:
    • your email address (so we can email you your tax-deductible receipt after we receive your check in the mail)
    • your name
    • the name of the nonprofit organization you would like for your donation to benefit (in this case, Recode)!
  • We will send your donation at the end of the month, as we do with all of our donations.

Please note! In accordance with US Law, you cannot use the Silent Donor platform to make any donations to political candidates, parties, campaigns, PACs, or Super PACs, nor can you donate to any organizations that engage in lobbying (ie 501(c)(4) organizations). Silent Donor assesses a five percent fee to each donation that goes through the platform. When you give through Silent Donor, you’re not only contributing to a charitable cause, but you’re also helping build a more robust philanthropic infrastructure to support anonymous donations from donors around the world – doubling your impact!
